THIS! is my latest album-project.

Why release an album in this day and age, where click-bate and single-serving meals are the norm? Well, first of all, albums are far from dead - most great artists today all release albums, because albums still cary weight.

My main reason for going for doing this is because I simply love listening to the album format. Catchy singles are great, and I allways love a great pop song. But when I listen to a well laid out album, it takes me on a journey. From ups to downs, extrovert to introvert, aggressive to melancholic. It also lets me discover songs I would never stumble upon if my only source for new music was the "most popular right now" playlists.

Therefore I want to present to you an album - a longer story. I hope it will take you on a journey, and that this journey will resonate with you.

By the way, the journey has already started with the singles Day By Day and The Bus. To dodge the fact that albums sometimes are merely singles-compilations, I will rework the singles into an even more cohesive unity featuring sound-design and additional arrangements.​ It's sort of a reverse engineered album. Instead of releasing singles from a ready made album, I have nine ready-made singles produced with the album in mind, and I will then further rework into an album. So if you listen to the album it will be a much more cohesive and different experience than simply listening to the singles. Also, the singles will be released in the same order as they will appear on the album. Check out my Spotify playlist the 14th every month for my latest single.
